X-Elle – Passion for soul
X-elle originally started as a female band to play at the Jazz Im Rock festival 2007 in Luzern, Switzerland, continued by popular demand and evolved into a fully-fledged jazz/soul band, which plays not only great versions of well-known songs but also creates very good new ones.
We feel that it is not the fact that we are all women that sets us apart, but the quality of our music, our inventiveness and obviously the sheer fun of playing together that makes us original and a joy for our audience to watch and listen to.
Der Elan von X-Elle verzaubert spürbar. Die Leidenschaft ist authentisch und tiefgründig, ohne Gefühlsausbrüche und Sentimentalitäten. Die Musik von X-Elle ist professionell, fest verankertes Handwerk, mit abwechslungsreichen Arrangements im funkigen, souligen Jazzbereich und improvisierten Solis. X-Elle ist Ohrenschmaus und Augenweide zugleich. Die scharf blitzenden Blicke und der schmunzelnd beipflichtende Austausch sind aber selbst mit geschlossenen Augen unbestritten wahrnehmbar. Das Publikum ist von ihnen begeistert. Von den Eigenkompositionen oder den guten Covers von Prince, Randy Crawford. X-Elle fährt energetisierend in jede Körperfaser.
